Fasto CA10 is a low-viscosity, high-strength, very fast-curing ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive, specially formulated for rapid bonding of difficult-to-bond substrates. Its ultra-fast fixture time and excellent adhesion make it ideal for rubber, plastics, leather, paper, and general industrial assembly applications.

Surface Preparation

  • Ensure bonding surfaces are clean, dry, and free from oil, grease, and contaminants.
  • Proper alignment of parts is essential due to the very fast cure speed.

Application Method

  1. Apply a small amount of Fasto CA10 to one surface only.
  2. Join parts immediately and press firmly together.
  3. Hold until handling strength is achieved (usually within seconds).
  4. Avoid over-application, as excess adhesive may slow curing and reduce bond strength.

Curing Guidelines

  • Fixture time: 2–3 seconds
  • Full cure: 24 hours
  • Best results achieved on close-fitting joints (≤ 0.10 mm gap)

Additional Notes

  • Cure speed depends on humidity, temperature, and substrate type.
  • For low surface energy plastics (PP, PE, PTFE), use a Fasto Cyanoacrylate Activator.
  • For disassembly, use Fasto CA Debonder.
