Surface Preparation

  • Ensure all contact surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, oil, rust, scale, release agents, and contaminants.
  • Clean surfaces using a suitable Fasto cleaner for optimum performance.
  • Ensure mating surfaces are properly aligned before application.

Application Method

  1. Apply Fasto TG200 evenly on the heat-generating component or contact surface using a spatula or suitable applicator.
  2. Spread the paste uniformly to eliminate trapped air between the heat source and heat sink.
  3. Assemble components immediately after application.
  4. Apply only the required quantity to achieve complete surface contact.
  5. Remove excess material after assembly if necessary.

Application Conditions

  • Recommended application temperature: 5°C to 40°C
  • Optimum application temperature: 15°C to 25°C

Thermal Interface Guidelines

  • Apply a thin, uniform layer to achieve maximum heat transfer efficiency.
  • Avoid excessive application, as surplus material may reduce thermal performance.
  • Ensure complete contact between heat-emitting and heat-radiating surfaces.
  • Suitable for both vertical and horizontal assembly applications.
  • Ideal for filling microscopic surface irregularities and air gaps.
