Fasto E400 is a very high-strength, two-part pure epoxy adhesive supplied in a ready-to-use 3:1 cartridge system for accurate, clean, and efficient dispensing. It is engineered for bonding, sealing, and holding small, medium, and large assemblies where bond strength, durability, and chemical resistance are critical.

Fasto E400 delivers exceptionally strong mechanical performance and maintains reliability under heat, chemicals, and long-term service conditions, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments.

Surface Preparation

  • Ensure all bonding surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and oil.
  • Trials are recommended to confirm if additional surface cleaning is required.

Mixing & Application

  1. Screw the static mixer onto the cartridge.
  2. Dispense adhesive until a uniform grey colour is observed.
  3. Apply Fasto E400 to all engaged bonding areas.
  4. Assemble parts immediately.
  5. Wipe off excess adhesive from outside the joint.

Curing Guidelines

  • Fixture time: ~20 minutes
  • Strength build-up:
    • ~40% strength in 30 minutes
    • ~70% strength in 3 hours
    • 100% strength in 24 hours
  • Maximum gap: 0.5 mm
