Fasto UV36—Fast-Setting, Optically Clear UV Adhesive for Glass-to-Glass & Glass-to-Metal Bonding.

Fasto UV36 is a single-component, medium-low viscosity UV-curing adhesive based on urethane acrylic ester chemistry, specially formulated for bonding glass to glass and glass to metal. When exposed to UV light (at 365 nm), it cures rapidly to form a clear, tough, and durable bond.

Designed for applications where optical clarity, fast fixture time, and long-term environmental resistance are critical, Fasto UV36 is widely used in industrial, pharmaceutical, signage, furniture, jewellery, and precision assembly applications.

Surface Preparation

Application Method

  1. Apply Fasto UV36 to one bonding surface.
  2. Bring the parts together, ensuring correct alignment.
  3. Expose the entire bond line to UV light.
  4. Ensure uniform UV exposure for consistent curing.

  • Fixture time (glass slide):
    • <10 sec @ 10 mW/cm²
    • <5 sec @ 30 mW/cm²
  • Surface cure (dry to touch at 250 nm):
    <5 sec @ 30 mW/cm²
