Fasto CA80 – Rubber Based Impact Resistant Instant Cyanoacrylate Adhesive

Fasto CA80 is a high-viscosity, solvent-free, impact-resistant ethyl-modified cyanoacrylate adhesive engineered for very high strength and fast curing. Its black colour and toughened formulation make it ideal for applications requiring shock resistance, gap filling, and durable bonding on plastics, elastomers, and mixed substrates.

Fasto CA80 delivers reliable performance under mechanical stress and elevated temperatures, making it suitable for demanding industrial assemblies.

Surface Preparation

  • Ensure bonding surfaces are clean, dry, and free from oil, grease, dust, and contaminants.
  • Proper alignment of components is important due to fast cure speed.

Application Method

  1. Apply a thin, controlled amount of Fasto CA80 to one surface.
  2. Join parts immediately and press firmly together.
  3. Hold until handling strength is achieved.
  4. Avoid excessive adhesive application, as overuse may slow curing and reduce bond strength.

Curing Guidelines

  • Fixture time: 10–20 seconds
  • Full cure: 20 hours
  • Maximum gap fill: 0.20 mm
  • Best results on close-fitting, smooth surfaces

Additional Notes

  • Cure speed depends on humidity, temperature, and substrate type.
  • Acidic substrates (paper, leather) may show slower curing.
  • For rework or disassembly, use Fasto CA Debonder (complete removal from fabrics is not possible).
