Surface Preparation

  • Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, oil, rust, scale, and contaminants.
  • Clean substrates using a suitable Fasto cleaner for best adhesion.

Application Method

  1. Apply Fasto S960 using a manual or pneumatic dispensing gun.
  2. Extrude a continuous, uniform bead onto the prepared surface.
  3. Assemble the mating parts immediately to avoid premature skin formation.
  4. Apply sufficient sealant to ensure proper sealing.
  5. Remove excess material after assembly, if required.

Curing Information

  • Skin formation: 8–10 minutes
  • Tack-free time: 18–22 minutes
  • Full cure: 24 hours
(Cure time depends on humidity, temperature, and joint thickness)
