Surface Preparation

  • Remove all dust, dirt, grease, oil, rust, loose coatings, frost, and contaminants.
  • Clean substrates using a suitable Fasto cleaner.
  • Install back-up material, joint fillers, setting blocks, spacers, and tapes as required.

Application Method

  1. Apply Redisil 789 Pro using a manual or pneumatic dispensing gun.
  2. Extrude a continuous, uniform bead into the joint.
  3. Tool the sealant before skin formation to ensure proper contact.
  4. Apply sufficient sealant to ensure full joint filling.
  5. Remove masking tape after tooling and before skinning occurs.

Curing Information

  • Skin formation: 15–25 minutes
  • Tack-free time: 40–60 minutes
  • Full cure: 7–14 days
    (Depends on humidity, temperature, and joint depth)
