Fasto MS50 – High Strength Silane Modified Polymer Adhesive Sealant

Fasto MS50 is a one-part, silane modified polymer (MS Polymer) based high-performance adhesive sealant designed for structural bonding and elastic sealing applications. It combines the advantages of both polyurethane (PU) and silicone technologies while being solvent-free, isocyanate-free, and odourless.

Engineered for high strength, flexibility, and superior weather resistance, Fasto MS50 delivers durable bonding performance across automotive, construction, marine, HVAC, and industrial sectors.

Surface Preparation

  • Remove rust, scale, dust, grease, oil, and contaminants.
  • Clean surfaces using suitable Fasto cleaner if required.
  • Ensure substrates are clean, dry, and structurally sound.

Application Method

  1. Apply Fasto MS50 using standard dispensing equipment.
  2. Assemble parts immediately to avoid skin formation.
  3. Apply sufficient material for proper bonding or sealing.
  4. Tool the joint before skin formation.
  5. Remove excess sealant and masking tape before skinning.

Application Temperature: 5°C to 40°C
(Optimum: 15°C to 25°C)

Curing Information

  • Tack Free Time: ~30 minutes*
  • Full Cure: 24 hours*
  • Curing depends on humidity and temperature

Joint & Sealing Guidelines

  • Use masking tape for neat finishing.
  • Suitable for seam and joint sealing in dynamic applications.
  • Can be over-painted after becoming tack-free (compatibility testing recommended).
  • Expose to baking temperatures only after full curing
