Fasto CA13 is a low-viscosity, high-strength, very fast-curing ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive engineered for high-speed industrial bonding applications. It is specially formulated to deliver instant fixture strength on a wide range of substrates, including rubber, plastics, leather, paper, and other common materials.

With its excellent bonding performance and rapid curing speed, Fasto CA13 is widely used in industrial OEMs, automotive ancillaries, textile units, equipment maintenance, and earthmoving machinery.

Surface Preparation

  • Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from oil, grease, dust, and contaminants.
  • Proper alignment of components is critical due to the rapid curing nature of the adhesive.

Application Method

  1. Apply a small amount of Fasto CA13 to one surface only.
  2. Join the parts immediately and press firmly together.
  3. Hold until handling strength is achieved (within seconds).
  4. Avoid over-application, as excess adhesive can slow cure speed and reduce bond strength.

Curing Guidelines

  • Fixture time: 2–3 seconds
  • Full cure: 12 hours
  • Maximum gap fill: 0.10 mm
  • Best performance achieved on close-fitting joints

Additional Notes

  • Cure speed depends on humidity, temperature, and substrate type.
  • Low surface energy plastics (PP, PE, PTFE) may require a Fasto Cyanoacrylate Activator.
  • For removal or rework, use Fasto CA Debonder.
