Fasto Flex Fast is a low-viscosity, modified ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive developed for very fast bonding across a wide range of substrates, including plastics, rubbers, metals, wood, and certain porous materials. It delivers exceptional cure speed with high bond strength, making it ideal for high-speed assembly lines, precision bonding, and rapid repair applications.

Surface Preparation

  • Ensure bonding surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, grease, and contaminants
  • Light surface abrasion may improve adhesion on smooth substrates
  • Ensure correct alignment before application due to extremely fast curing

Application Method

  • Apply a small amount of Fasto Flex Fast to one surface only
  • Join parts immediately and apply firm pressure
  • Hold briefly until handling strength is achieved

Note: Use as little adhesive as possible. Excess application may slow cure speed and reduce bond strength.

Curing Information

  • Fixture time: 2–5 seconds
  • Handling strength: Within seconds
  • Full cure: 24 hours (ambient conditions)

Cyanoacrylate activators may be used to further accelerate cure speed, especially on difficult or low-energy substrates.

Joint & Bonding Guidelines

  • Best results on close-fitting joints
  • Apply in a thin, continuous line
  • Excessive bond gaps will reduce curing speed
  • Low humidity and low temperatures may slow curing
  • Acidic substrates (paper, leather) may cure slower than plastics and rubbers
