Surface Preparation

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, oil, rust, or loose particles.
Clean surfaces using a suitable Fasto cleaner for optimal adhesion.

Application Method

Apply Fasto SM30 using a manual or pneumatic dispensing gun.
Extrude a continuous, bubble-free bead with consistent pressure.
Assemble or tool the joint immediately before skin formation.
Remove excess sealant using a suitable cleaner.
For neat joints, use masking tape and remove it before skinning occurs.

Joint Design Guidelines

Suitable for gap filling up to 7 mm
For joints wider than 7 mm, use a backer rod or bond breaker tape
Avoid fully confined joints, as curing requires atmospheric moisture

Curing Information

Skin formation: approx. 8 minutes
Full cure: 24 hours (depends on humidity, temperature, and joint depth)
